Pastor: Rev. Dr. Patrick Lovejoy
Pastor Lovejoy has been serving St Matthew as Pastor since the summer of 2009. He has a BA from the University of Alaska; he graduated from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, MO with his Master's Degree in Divinity; and he received his Doctor of Ministry in Marriage and Family Counseling from Denver Seminary. Pastor Lovejoy has been married to his wife, Sarah, since 2009 and they have four children.
Organist: Kenneth Young
Ken began serving St Matthew in the summer of 2014. Ken has a Masters Degree in Sacred Music, as well as many years of experience teaching and training others to play the piano.
Preschool Teacher: Ariana Servin
I am Teacher Ariana! I am Married and have three children and a dog. I enjoy walks by the water, cooking and spending time with my family. I lived and taught preschool in Sequim but have just purchased a home and moved to Port Angeles. After High School I attended Peninsula College to obtain my Early Childhood Education Certificates and Associates Degree. I have gained most of my word experienced through the Head Start Program and the Educare Center at Peninsula College. Did I mention that I speak Spanish too? When needed, I help translate the worship service for our Pastor in English. I attend a small Hispanic Church off hi-way 101 in Sequim. I am part of the leadership crew at Movimiento Evangelistico Agua de Vid. I am excited to be teaching at St. Matthew and I look forward to working with the children, supporting their early years of education, and most importantly teaching them about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Administrative Secretary: Jeanette Barnes
Jeanette is a retired banker after working at First Federal for just shy of 20 years. She has two daughters, nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren all of whom she loves very much.
Custodian: Don Smith
Don has worked as the Congregation's Custodian since 2017. He is also known as Pastor Don Smith, and serves as our stand in Pastor when needed. He is very much loved, such a blessing, and a joy to know.
